With a grid capacity of just 72 cars, those spots were snapped up in a mere 30 minutes. That means entries exceed the field by nearly 30 percent. Despite the overwhelming demand, the entry window remains open until the December 16 cut-off date, giving more teams a chance to throw their hat in the ring—though they'll face a rigorous selection process.
Entry selection for the Bathurst 6 Hour is notoriously stringent. Each submission is individually assessed by an entry list panel against a set of criteria before successful applicants are notified.
