Thomas Marini successfully wrote a glorious chapter in Aprilia history by claiming the overall championship title in the 2026 European Tout Terrain Rally Cup. The Noale manufacturer's total dominance was cemented after sweeping all races during their debut European campaign, proving the exceptional performance of their twin-cylinder machine on international gravel and dirt.
The journey toward the championship crown began impressively at the opening round in Santiago de Compostela, Spain. The Sammarinese rider immediately established himself at the sharp end of the general standings by securing two daily victories, engaging in a fierce battle at the top alongside his teammate during a demanding opening weekend.
Consistency continued when the second round moved to Pefki Evia, Greece. There, the newly crowned champion kept accumulating crucial points through two class victories and five absolute podium finishes, further strengthening the competitive stance of the Noale adventure bike against tough rivals from across Europe.

The peak of performance arrived at the final showdown in Ramnicu Sarat, Romania. Amidst a tense title decider, he successfully clinched the double crown by sweeping four absolute daily victories and standing on the highest step of the podium in every single session contested without missing a beat.
Aprilia Tuareg Racing's absolute dominance was completed by Jacopo Cerutti who secured the runner-up spot in the final standings. Although forced to end his season prematurely following a heavy crash in Romania while fiercely fighting for the ultimate crown, this double podium sweep stands as undeniable proof of the technical superiority of the GCorse-developed rally machine.
