Alex Marquez believes his brother Marc Marquez will face a tougher challenge in the MotoGP title fight at several upcoming rounds, with Aprilia expected to be particularly strong.
Aprilia's dominance in the Indonesian Grand Prix, where they claimed the top four positions, underlined the mounting pressure on Ducati in the championship battle.
The Gresini rider noted that upcoming circuits such as Phillip Island, Qatar, and Portimao could play directly into the hands of the Noale-based manufacturer.

Alex also pointed to rear tyre struggles with a specific reinforced casing as a major hurdle for Ducati in Mandalika, though riders have now said goodbye to that particular specification for the rest of the year.
'We struggled a lot with this rear casing, a different tyre. I expected to struggle a little less on Sunday with the medium, but it was the other way around,' Alex explained.
Despite the challenges, Marc managed to limit the damage in Indonesia, leaving the weekend with 22 points—matching championship leader Jorge Martin's tally.
With the championship race wide open, the remaining rounds promise high tension as Ducati fights to defend its supremacy against a surging Aprilia.
