Nicolo Bulega once again proved his dominance in the World Superbike championship. His 24th win of the season in Race 1 at Magny-Cours has extended his lead at the top of the standings to 138 points over Iker Lecuona.
Title Fight Still Alive
Lecuona's second-place finish in Race 1 ensures the title battle will not be mathematically decided this weekend. The fight will continue at Cremona in two weeks' time.
Meanwhile, Yari Montella missed the podium for the first time in eight races, finishing fourth. Despite this, the Barni Spark Racing rider maintains third in the championship.

Behind Montella, a tight battle is unfolding between the Lowes brothers. Sam Lowes now leads Alex Lowes thanks to his third-place finish at Magny-Cours, with a slender margin in the standings.
The midfield battle is also intriguing, with Axel Bassani and Lorenzo Baldassarri in close pursuit. Alvaro Bautista is still fighting in ninth, while Jonathan Rea languishes in 22nd after a tough season with Honda.
